People are invited to learn more about Korean soft power at the Korea Pavilion, held as part of the "Thacca Splash – Soft Power Forum 2024", at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Ratchadaphisek Road, from tomorrow to Sunday. A collaboration with KOCCA Thailand, KTO Thailand and AT Center, the pavilion will introduce Korean content and focus on what Thai people love. They include webtoons by Naver Webtoon, Contents Lab Blue and Kidari Studio; mobile games by Zepetto and Netmarble; TV shows by True CJ Creations; animated characters by the Pinkfong Company; and electronics from LG.

Also displayed will be genre convergence among webtoons such as True Beauty and I Wanna Be U , which have been made into series, animation, games, books and products using its intellectual property rights. On Saturday, there will be a seminar on "The Meaning Of K-Wave And Its Success Factor" conducted by YoonZi Kim, a senior researcher at Korea Eximbank and also author of Korean Wave Chronicles . Webtoon artists, including Yaongyi ( True Beauty ) and Sam ( Your Throne and I Wanna Be U ) will also show up for a fan meeting.

The highlight on Sunday will be a K-pop dance mini workshop by choreographer Kim Hyunyi who has collaborated with K-pop groups like Itzy and Red Velvet. Presented on all three days will be a cover dance competition using Zling, an AI-based motion sensor; a make-up show; and OX Quiz and puzzle games with prizes.
