Khloe Kardashian hit back after online critics slammed her and ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson for letting their six-year-old daughter wear makeup. The pair previously came under fire for their parenting when Tristan shared a series of pictures of himself posing with True on his social media. The snaps showed the youngster heavily made-up with full fluffy lashes and bold red lipstick as she beamed alongside her dad.

Now Khloe has shared a series of images from backstage at the same event - a dance recital - where True is seen dressed in her adorable pink embellished leotard and tutu and posing with her makeup on. However, Khloe wasted no time in telling potential haters to back off before they even reached the comments section on the post. She wrote: "My girls had their dance recital yesterday! Year 3 done.

I can’t believe they already have done three years of dance. Life is moving quickly. They did two dances this year- Ballet and hiphop.

I am so so proud of them! They were absolutely perfect...

obviously none of our girls wear makeup like this regularly. This was for the recital only. They are beautiful just as they are.

Yesterday was super special memories for a lifetime." Khloe's words come after a string of comments criticising the heavy make-up on True when Tristan posted his pictures with her. The images were reposted to a Kardashian fan account on Instagram prompting a sea of criticism for the look.

One shocked social media user wrote: "Too much make up and way to muc.
