Keira Knightley stepped out for a Wimbledon day date with husband James Righton, 40, on Wednesday, July 10. Knightley, 39, was dressed for the occasion in a long, white dress with a bit of a capelet over her right shoulder, and a black bow on her left. She wore her hair in soft waves, and accessorized with gold bracelets and sunglasses with chunky clear frames.
Righton was dressed up in a brown suit with a beige button-down, a coordinating tie with brown stripes, and tortoiseshell-framed sunglasses. The couple, who largely remain out of the public eye, seemed to be enjoying themselves in photos obtained by that showed them smiling at each other and making faces in response to the tennis match. The parents, who welcomed daughters Edie in 2015 and Delilah in 2019, had taken a day for themselves.
They are protective over their children, and work to keep them out of the spotlight. Knightley and Righton first met when they were introduced by friends at a dinner party in 2011. They were engaged by May 2012, and the following year the couple tied the knot in France.
Righton gushed about the wedding in a May 2013 interview with . "I just fell in love with someone who happens to be amazing. We had a beautiful wedding and there was a lot of love," he said, adding, of the special day, "It was the greatest day ever, it was fantastic.
We're still high from it. It was about two weeks ago, it was a big party." Knightley would later re-wear her wedding dress, coupled with a long-sleeved mesh.
