Keir Starmer talked Tim and Simon through a tandoori salmon recipe (Image: Channel 4) Sunday Brunch viewers were all left saying the same thing as Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer came onto the Channel 4 show for the first time. They were left gobsmacked as Starmer spoke Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer through making tandoori salmon for breakfast as he prepared it whilst talking about a range of issues, including how Labour would fix the current sewage issue around the country. He also opened up about spending time with his family, revealing that he takes his sons to watch football as he highlighted how important he thought it was to have family time.

But as he spoke, fans took to social media to share their complaint, as one said: "How can Starmer be so lacking in charisma/boring? He's sending me back to sleep and I've only just got up...

" Another added: "I am recording this Keir Starmer item so I can watch it when I struggle to sleep." A third chipped in: "Oh dear Kier Starmer on #sundaybrunch is doing himself no favours..

. he has the charisma of a pickled peanut, & looks like an awkward Dad at a teenagers party!" A fourth asked: "This is so boring! Is Poirot on yet?" as a fifth chimed in: "That's too much cringe for a Sunday morning. Kier Starmer awkwardly bantering/chatting football with Tim Lovejoy and Dermot O'Leary, then moving to the kitchen to cook a spicy salmon dish with Simon Rimmer.

It's like some sort of fever dream." READ MORE..
