Sky News react to the exit polls Sky News presenter Kay Burley has been singled out by Dan Wootton as he accused her of bias during the channels election night coverage. Kay was the lead anchor for the live TV event alongside Sophy Ridge and they were joined throughout the evening by Beth Rigby, Trevor Phillips, Ed Conway and Sam Coates. Dan took to X to post a clip from the programme for his 565,500 followers, which showed the countdown to the polls closing before the results of the exit poll were broadcast for viewers showing a landslide for the Sir Keir Starmer led Labour Party.

Kay can be heard laughing at the result as the graphic appears on screen. He captioned the post: "If you ever needed proof that Kay Burley and Sly News are nothing more than Labour stooges. So unprofessional.

" (sic) Express.co.uk have contacted Sky News and Kay Burley for comment.

Some viewers backed him up, as one said: "This Kay Burley is so biased," as another added: "I’m normally a fan of GBNews but find it in bad taste that they are holding an election night celebration party. On the other hand I can’t watch Sky News with the rabid and biased Kay Burley presenting the programme. As for the BBC I can’t even contemplate watching that channel.
