When a new pop-up store opened in the Jervis Centre last year, it attracted 4,000 visitors per day. When the company chose Dublin as the location for its new Europe, Middle East and Africa headquarters, also last year, they received a red-carpet welcome. Promo shots of the event starred Simon ­Coveney sporting a toothy grin, giant scissors bared to cut the ribbon.
