JOAN Benedict, who is popular for her roles in Candid Camera and General Hospital, is no more. She was 96. Benedict breathed his last in a Los Angeles hospital on June 24 after he faced complications that are caused by a stroke, a family spokesperson confirmed.

Benedict also played Edith Fairchild in General Hospital and made an appearance in Days of Our Lives. Besides her role in TV and movies, Benedict also earned massive recognition known for stage acting.
