Jerry Seinfeld has sparked an online debate after claiming he “misses dominant masculinity” and likes a “real man”. The sitcom star behind the new Netflix film Unfrosted sat down with Bari Weiss recently and left nothing off the table. During the discussion, he admitted how much he wanted to be a “real man” when he was growing up.

His “childish pursuit” of comedy stopped him from reaching his goal, despite citing President John F Kennedy , Muhammad Ali, Sean Connery and Howard Cosell as inspirations.

“But I miss a dominant masculinity,” Jerry, 70, shared on the The Free Press’ Honestly podcast. “Yeah, I get the toxic thing,” he added. “But still, I like a real man.
