Jennifer Lopez has been a major celebrity for years. She has built successful careers as an actor and singer and has appeared on reality television. While she is one of the bigger stars of the 21st century, Lopez said she has always felt like an outsider when she is around her peers.
She shared why she feels this way. Jennifer Lopez said she didn’t feel like she fit in with other celebrities While Lopez has been famous and successful for years, she said she has struggled for acceptance. After her arresting role in Hustlers brought her Oscars buzz , many reviews described her as an often-underrated performer who deserves more credit.
She has often felt like she isn’t taken as seriously as some of her peers, which may lead to her feeling that she is an outsider. “I’ve always felt like an outsider, in the fashion world, the music world, the movie world,” she told Vogue in 2022. “I feel like everybody knows each other and all the artists talk, and you go to the Met ball and all the girls are hanging out together, and I’m not in that group.

“It’s not because I’m antisocial or I don’t want to make friends,” she said. “I’ve always been kind of a march-to-the-beat-of-my-own-drum, loner-type person. I’m like, I’ll just stay focused on my thing.
