The search continues for missing teenager Jay Slater , who vanished in Tenerife exactly four-weeks ago. The 19-year-old went missing on the island on the morning of Monday, June 17. We will keep you up to date with the latest from the ongoing search in our live blog below.

Jay, from Lancashire, was on holiday with friends Lucy Law, 18, and Brad Hargreaves, 19, and had been at the Papagayo nightclub in Playa de las Americas on the night before he disappeared. He left the club with two British men, Ayub Qassim, 31 - known by the nickname 'Johnny Vegas' - and an unnamed second man, before heading to their Airbnb near Masca, a remote village in the north. The teenager left the property on Monday morning and has not been seen since.

Qassim, who was imprisoned nine years ago for orchestrating a scheme to inundate Wales with Class A drugs, previously told the Mail Online Jay 'came to the Airbnb alive and left the Airbnb alive'. Police in Spain have deemed him and the unnamed second man to be of no relevance to the investigation. Read more: At around 8.

30am that Monday morning four weeks ago, Jay called Lucy to say he was in the middle of nowhere, trying to get home with no water and only one percent battery left on his phone. The MEN reports his last known location was in the Rural de Teno Park in the north of the Canary Island – about an 11-hour walk from his accommodation in Los Cristianos. For the last four weeks, searches have been ongoing on the island to find him.
