Despite extensive efforts by local authorities, no significant leads were found regarding his whereabouts. Police officially ended their search at the end of June, but Jay's family stayed in the Canary Islands, holding onto hope. Supporters have contributed over £53,000 via a GoFundMe page, aiding the family's continued search efforts.
