WARREN – Janet L. Anderson, born Dec. 13, 1951, of Warren, passed away peacefully June 14, 2024, at the age of 72.
She grew up in Lakeside and was a graduate of Wamogo Regional High School, class of 1970. Janet was predeceased by her partner, Lawrence Rumble, her father Donald Wood, and her sister Donna Maguire. Janet is survived by her mother Elizabeth Wood; sister Carolyn Phillips; her children, Sara Anderson (Scott Bennett) and Robert Anderson (Lara Barr), Clinton and Nicole Rumble.
She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren Gabrielle, Cassidy, Tucker, and Lena. Janet had a deep passion for gardening and landscaping. She worked for a private estate for more than 20 years.
She was often found tending to her beautiful flowers and plants. Janet will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be cherished and her legacy will live on through the beautiful gardens she cultivated as her passion for gardening has been passed down.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield.
