The two-time Oscar winner arrived at the Palais des Festivals for the screening of Le Deuxième Acte ( The Second Act ) and the opening ceremony of the most prestigious film festival in the world.
Rocking a bold red lip and voluminous wavy bob, Fonda looked every bit a Hollywood star. Fonda wore a classic black Elie Saab jumpsuit accented with black and silver floral details down the front. To begin her red carpet walk, she layered a black and brown printed forte_forte coat over her flared jumpsuit, removing it as she posed for cameras.
In addition to silver pointed Margaux heels, the Grace and Frankie star accessorized with diamonds — 4,000 diamonds, to be exact. Fonda wore a collection of Pomellato pieces totaling at least 4,000 diamonds. The Asimmetrico necklace included articulated rose gold plates “encrusted with 2,924 diamonds weighing a substantial 20 carats,” explained Zack Stone of London-based Steven Stone Jewellers .
