This Morning 's Ben Shephard shared his fears for his own son while travelling on Tuesday's show. During the latest instalment, Ben, 49, and co-host Cat Deeley spoke to GB News presenter Katherine Forster's two sons, Matthew and Andrew, aged 22 and 18, who were recently rescued from Bali's 10,000 feet volcano Mount Agung after getting lost during a hike. This prompted Ben to reveal that his own son, Sam, is currently travelling as he shared his own fears for his son while exploring the world .

Ben said: "Katherine, we'll come to you in just a bit, as a parent with a son who is travelling around at the moment. "This was the sort of story that strikes fear into your heart because I know that my Sam climbed up a couple of the volcanoes, a couple of the hills in Bali, as well." It comes as Katherine took to X, formerly known as Twitter , to reveal she was experiencing the "worst day of her life" when Matthew and Andrew had gone missing.

The pair had been hiking up a remote volcano in Bali when they suddenly lost contact with those they were travelling with. Matthew and Andrew should have returned to the UK last week after a nine-week trip across Asia but Katherine received a call on Thursday to inform her the pair were missing. Shortly after The British Embassy became involved, a rescue operation was launched in a bid to locate the siblings.
