Love Island's Nicole Samuel has revealed her surprise over bagging a spot in the ITV2 villa. The Accounts Manager, 24, from Aberdare, has revealed that she applied for the hit dating show while scrolling through social media and got a phone call the next day. Speaking to the Mirror and other publications, Nicole said of heading into the villa: "I'm excited, I could go in there tomorrow now! I'm ready, like just get me in there! "I was scrolling through social media and I think it was an advert 'apply now', so literally just applied, thought nothing of it, didn't think anything and then the next day I had a phone call.

So, yeah, it was quite quick!" Talking about what she thinks made her application stand out, the Islander said: "It wasn't as interesting as I thought it was, it was just generally things I've done, who I am, where I'm from, I had a little video clip that I uploaded, it wasn't anything that I thought would have stood out but it must of!
