ITV have announced another schedule shake-up as it axes two beloved shows. The broadcaster has rejigged its TV offering over the past number of weeks to make way for special events. And next week will see two of the station's best quiz shows dropped from the schedule.

Bosses have pulled Tipping Point and The Chase this Tuesday afternoon. Tipping Point is usually on at 4pm with Ben Shephard , while The Chase airs at 5pm with Bradley Walsh . The move is to make way for live coverage of the racing, which will take place from 1:30pm all the way until 6pm.

ITV News will then air both its national and regional bulletins directly after the show ends. Meanwhile, Coronation Street has been ditched from the schedule this Friday . The popular programme usually airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV1 and ITVX .

It's been dropped in favour of a football fixture, Germany vs Scotland in UEFA Euro 2024 . The coverage is scheduled to air from 6.30pm to 10.

45pm on ITV1, with kickoff taking place at 8pm. The Chase first premiered on ITV back in 2009 and has become a firm favourite among viewers since then. The roster of professional quizzers ('chasers') has grown significantly since the show's launch.
