More info Coronation Street fans reckon they've sussed out the secret Sam Blakeman is keeping from his dad, Nick Tilsley . They suspect that Rowan Cunliffe might have set his sights on a new victim in his twisted cult plot. After successfully drawing in Leanne Battersby and cutting her off from her loved ones, he's now facing opposition from her sister Toyah.

In the midst of a blackmail scheme involving Toyah and Nick , viewers saw Nick's other half Leanne assisting her stepson Sam with an undisclosed matter. However, both Sam and Leanne kept tight-lipped about it when Nick probed. Sam entered the flat enquiring after Leanne, to which Nick responded she was out.

The teenager appeared eager to discuss something with her, and Nick, sensing this, questioned him about it. The youngster said Leanne had promised to help him with something, downplaying its importance by saying "it didn't matter" when pressed further. When Nick suggested Leanne might have forgotten, Sam confidently stated: "She won't", reports the Mirror .

Upon Leanne's arrival, Sam queried: "You ready?", which raised Nick's suspicions. Leanne assured him: "Yeah, give me five minutes. You get set up and I will.
