Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Matteo Fraziano had to re-start his performance after a major technical issue - and got no sympathy at all from one of the judges. Matteo was forced to stop during the live semi-final as a mishap on stage halted him from doing his act. He struggled to get his torch working correctly, leading to an awkward five second silence as he tried to keep his composure.

Simon Cowell looked around asking for help and soon he was able to hold it in place and begin his performance. The impressionist wasn't put off despite the false start as the Italian's handy work left the audience in stitches. But it wasn't great news from the judge and Alisha Dixon wasn't at all impressed, and told him as much as she was booed by the crowd for her merciless response.

Things turned chaotic for poor Matteo Fraziano ( Image: Dymond/Thames/REX/Shutterstock) She told him: "You are super talented, but it didn't set me on fire tonight. It left my feeling flag. I just wasn't feeling it tonight, I'm sorry.

" Simon - speaking over the boos - was quick to say he was great. "We don't all the same things. For you to recover after that whole thing at the beginning, good for you!" Matteo told Ant and Dec: "It just wanted a great experience.

I just really enjoyed the fact that some many people that loved it." The good news is for the act that lots of people watching at home enjoyed his show with one writing on X: "Matteo was so different and so fantastic." Dec looked a bit apprehensive.
