BGT: Amanda Holden in tears after epic vocal performance by Sydnie Britain's Got Talent returned for the third episode of live semi-final shows this evening (May 29), with fans at home already declaring one act as the winner. Singer Sydnie Christmas returned to the ITV stage to face judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli once more. She won the hearts of them and the audience in the audition round and was even granted a Golden Buzzer.
In the auditions, Sydnie performed Tomorrow from the popular musical Annie, which Simon first admitted was a tune he despised. However, he changed his mind once she performed. The singer received a standing ovation from the entire audience and the judges and was in awe over the reaction.
Amanda, who chose Sydnie as her Golden Buzzer act, told Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly head of today's acts: "She is absolutely phenomenal. I don't know what she's singing, I want to be surprised. But I know she's going to smash it.
" Tonight, Sydnie performed a beautiful rendition of Frank Sinatra 's I Did It My Way. Ant pointed out that Amanda looked like she was "almost in tears" as the pretty-in-pink judge wafted her hand in her face to fight back the waterworks.
