This initiative will transition ITA Airways from its existing Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network to the newly introduced SITA Connect Go SASE platform. SITA will provide a cutting-edge solution that incorporates software-defined networking (SDN) and secure service edge (SSE) technologies.
Specifically tailored for the air transport industry, SITA Connect Go is a unified networking and security solution designed to enhance network performance across bandwidth, resilience, security, and automation, all while maintaining cost-effectiveness. The network overhaul at ITA Airways is anticipated to reduce costs by approximately 20% worldwide, alongside introducing several new capabilities. This collaboration signifies the inaugural deployment of SITA Connect Go, marking it as the sole solution addressing comprehensive network needs.
For the first time, SITA Connect Go will manage an entire customer network, ensuring seamless operations, management, and security.
