A surveillance video from 2016 shows the rap mogul grabbing, shoving, dragging and kicking Cassie after escaping a hotel room and making her way to the lift. After the video's release, P Diddy - whose real name is Sean Combs - apologised for his behaviour in a social media video, claiming he was in a 'very dark place' and has since sought therapy and rehab.
Speaking at the Global Gift Gala during Cannes Film Festival , Christina commended her friend's bravery for opening up about the abuse she faced from Diddy. Christina told MailOnline: 'I think this sheds light that this happens more often. More often than you think.
