The Isha Yoga Center celebrates the 25th Consecration Anniversary of Dhyanalinga with a special event featuring multi-religious music and chants. The event highlights the center's commitment to spiritual harmony and inclusivity. New Delhi: The 25th consecration anniversary of the Dhyanalinga at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore was celebrated with much fanfare on June 24.

The festival featured mantras and chants from Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Islamic Sufi hymns, dedicated to the occasion. Dhyanalinga is a profound meditative space that does not subscribe to any particular belief or faith and requires no ritual, prayer, or worship. A powerful and unique energy form, Dhyanalinga creates the possibility for every human being who comes within its sphere to experience life in its totality.

This year’s consecration day celebrations began at the Dhyanalinga at 6 AM with the chanting of the “Aum Namah Shivaya” mantra by Isha Brahmacharis and Isha Brahmacharinis. This was followed by a powerful chanting of the ‘Nirvana Shatakam,’ composed by Adi Shankaracharya. Next, Thevaram was performed by Mayilai Sathgurunathan, followed by the chanting of Buddhist mantras by monks from the ‘Sera Mey’ Buddhist monastery.

Christian hymns were then performed by the FSPM Sisters from Coimbatore, and the Rudra-Samaka Veda Kosha was chanted by the Chidambaram Temple Deekshidars. Additionally, Nada Aradhana, a musical offering conducted with only musical instruments, was prese.
