It's never too late to become what you might have been. Sometimes, all you need is a little push to take the plunge. Few people exemplify this truth better than the members of British metalcore band Bury Tomorrow.

Ahead of the band's Australian tour alongside Make Them Suffer, we had the chance to chat with Tom Prendergast. Tom is a writer, producer, vocalist, keyboardist, and percussionist in Bury Tomorrow, as well as a full-time producer and production music writer. SR: You are soon coming to Australia again at the end of August, this time with 'Make Them Suffer' headlining, alongside 'Spite' and 'Bloom'.

What's your favourite thing about coming here, and what are you most looking forward to? TP: I have only been once before, but I love everything about it. The country is beautiful, the weather is amazing. Our British summer right now is grey and grim.

Everybody was so friendly in Australia, and the shows were insane! It was our first ever headliner there since Ed and I have been in the band. It felt like we were home immediately. Just the energy of the gigs and everything around it.

To go back with our new friends Make Them Suffer, I'm super excited! I'm not looking forward to the flight, but once we get there, it is going to be very cool. SR: Your new single 'Villain Arc' absolutely rips hard. Was it hard to write, and how have you found the response to it? TP: I'm glad you like it, so thank you for that.
