A mum from Chorley, described as having "a heart of gold", sadly passed away eight days after being discharged from the hospital. Sally Ann Hall was admitted to hospital on April 20 last year after she took an overdose but was later discharged. But just over a week later, she was rushed to hospital again on April 28, where she tragically died.
This week, an inquest into the 46-year-old's death was held at Preston Coroner's Court. The court was told that medical staff managed initially to revive Sally. However, she collapsed again, and died due to mixed drug toxicity, cardiac arrest and left ventricular hypertrophy, reports Lancs Live .

"She died from the combined effects of mixed drug toxicity and a cardiac arrest, contributed to by left ventricular hypertrophy, from which she did not recover."
