A body has been found this morning on the Greek island of Symi in the desperate hunt for Dr Mosley which was launched after he was last seen last Wednesday. Police looking for the much-loved columnist and TV doctor are investigating the discovery close to an area known as The Abyss on the island - after fears he had embarked upon a hazardous mountain route.
The body was found by staff at a nearby beach bar after being alerted by the mayor who had spotted something 'unusual' from the sea - at Agia Marina about 30 minutes walk from Pedi where he was last seen. Footage shared online today showed how one of the sniffer dogs involved in the search, named Scar, was limping away with paws seared by the island's hot rocks.
