Monday, May 27, 2024 IndiGo, India’s leading airline, has announced new flight routes that will connect North Goa, Nagpur, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad). This initiative is set to boost regional tourism significantly. Starting from July 2, 2024, the new flights will provide direct connectivity between Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar-North Goa, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar-Nagpur, and also facilitate travel between Nagpur and North Goa with a stopover at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
These flights are scheduled to operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, offering more convenient travel options for passengers. The direct flights from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to North Goa will reduce travel time drastically from over 14 hours to just 2 hours. Similarly, the new direct route between Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Nagpur will cut down the journey time from nearly 5 hours to 1.
