A lot of eyes have been trained skywards recently because of amazing Northern Lights displays over the region. However, an evening sky over Cleethorpes was just as stunning a sight yesterday (Monday, May 20). The pictures showing the effects of the setting sun were captured by a Grimsby Live follower Ruby Bond, who was in touch via our Facebook page.
She said: “Cleethorpes north wall tonight, 8.30pm to 9.15pm-ish.
” The lovely photos show an almost ethereal glow filling the sky, at one point, and pretty pink tinges highlighting the cloud formation over the seashore. Grimsby Live has a number of weather watchers who are adept at capturing moments like this.
