They amassed more than 40,000 likes on the video where they detailed the creation of the Quarter Pounder. To no surprise, the burger is created using a quarter pound of beef. Since 2018 the chain has cooked its Quarter Pounder burger fresh in most of the US.
Fresh Quarter Pounders are not available in Hawaii and Alaska, and this could be a result of transportation restrictions. McDonald’s supporters and critics fled to the comment section of the video where the burger-making process was detailed to give their two cents. Some naysayers did not believe that any of the chain’s burgers were made fresh.
