As the summer of great music continues in Cardiff, with the city welcoming the likes of Taylor Swift , Pink, Avril Lavigne and JLS to name just a few, it is now time for British rock band Idles to take to the stage at Cardiff Castle. They will perform on Friday, July 12. The band consists of Adam Devonshire on the bass, Welsh frontman Joe Talbot who is vocals, Mark Bowen on the guitar, Lee Kiernan on the guitar and Jon Beavis on the drums.

Earlier this year they released their fifth studio album Tangk. They are known for their songs including Dancer, Never Fight A Man With A Perm and Gift Horse. Here is everything you need to know about their gig at Cardiff Castle.

The band formed in 2019 and they are a four-piece composed of lead-singer and guitarist Karla Chubb, bassist and vocalist Sam McCann, guitarist Colm O’Reilly and drummer.
