A WOMAN has been left mortified after accidentally wearing a supermarket uniform on a night out clubbing. Holly explained that she'd been hunting for unique pieces in her local charity shop when she came across an oversized white and green striped shirt. Falling in love with the item - which she thought was "vintage" - Holly snapped it up, and couldn't resist wearing it when she hit the club with friends.

However, she later realised that the shirt was actually a Waitrose uniform. In a video on her TikTok page, she said: "I have just realised that the shirt I bought from a charity shop last week and have been wearing all weekend is in fact a Waitrose uniform. "Like, what? I wore that to the club Friday night.

" She only realised when she spotted the buttons on the shirt, inscribed with the Waitrose logo. Holly added that she was hoping the "sexy DJ" she'd been eyeing up in the club was looking at her back, but joked he probably thought she had "just finished my shift at the cheese counter". The worst thing of all was that someone came up to Holly in the club and asked where she got her shirt from, to which she proudly said she'd got it in the charity shop as part of her "sustainable" fashion pursuit.

She also told the person that she didn't think they'd "be able to get another one", but then laughed: "Go to Waitrose Holloway Road. "Everyone's f**king wearing one. Jesus Christ!" Holly also shared a screenshot of a man wearing the uniform in the TikTok video.
