Shaunna Harris, 24, from Bridgend, Wales, was rushed to A&E for medical assistance after her face ballooned within minutes after having her lip filler dissolved. The radiographer had previously had her lips injected twice before opting to get her plump pout dissolved last January.
But mere moments after having the dissolver injected hives began to emerge across her eyes. 'I thought I was going to die. I thought if my throat closed up anymore I would die.
I was gasping for air,' Shaunna said. When her aesthetician noticed how severe her reaction to the dissolvent was, Shaunna raced to hospital where she had adrenaline administered and was placed on a drip.
Before having the treatment, Shaunna was calm as her lip filler procedures had all been fine in the pas.
