On Saturday night, Kylie Minogue dazzled London with 18 hit tracks from her 45-year career. Her latest album, ‘Tension,’ praised as ‘pop perfection’ by critics, set the stage for an unforgettable performance on the Great Oak Stage for BST Hyde Park. Right at the start, Kylie said: “I never thought I’d be in front of thousands of people singing, ‘Touch me right there’!"As part of the crowd, I could see she was deeply emotional about performing at BST Hyde Park, nine years after her last appearance on this stage.
The crowd was just as emotional as Kylie herself, and everyone, myself included, was having the time of their lives, dancing non-stop! The audience relived the 80s with ‘The Loco-Motion’ and ‘Padam Padam,’ and we were taken back to the present times when Bebe Rexha and Tove Lo joined Kylie to perform their new track, ‘My Oh My'. Throughout her 90-minute set, Kylie wowed with five outfit changes, from a red latex jumpsuit to a shimmering black one-piece with a magenta cloak.
My favourite was a golden dress, complete with long gloves and boots, which she wore while performing 'Hold On to Now.' .
