Adam Pearson's classy gesture Marc Sneyd played his 300th Super League game at the weekend, with Hull FC chairman Adam Pearson presenting the former Black and Whites half-back with a commenative shirt to mark the occasion. Of course, Sneyd is a modern-day great of Hull, winning two Lance Todd trophies as the club won back-to-back Challenge Cup finals at Wembley. In total, he played 175 times for the Yorkshire club, scoring 19 tries and 655 goals for a total of 1,350 points.

He has seen returned in stellar fashion to debut club Salford Red Devils, and currently leads the Super League Man of Steel leaderboard. He kicked five goals in Sunday's 22-20 victory. The 31-year-old has played 96 of those games for the Airlie Birds, with the Samoan international also featuring for New Zealand Warriors and Manly Sea Eagles in the NRL, as well as Samoa and the Combined Nations All Stars at representative level. Sao made his NRL debut with Manly back in 2013, playing 47 times in Australia's premier rugby league competition. Joining Hull ahead of the 2020 season, Sao has also had two spells with the Samoan side, playing in 2018 and 2022, while he also featured for the Combined Nations in 2022.
