THRILL seekers don't have to rely on Disneyland to get their fill of family fun this summer. Another massive American theme park that is already home to dozens of rides has now introduced two new kid-friendly attractions. Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Six Flags Over Texas, a Disneyland-inspired theme park with over 100 rides, shows, and attractions, now has even more to offer.
On July 4, they opened two new cartoon-themed rides, including Daffy Duck Bucket Blastersand Sylvester, and Tweety Pounce and Bounce, according to Culturemap Houston . On the Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters, kids can spin around in teacup-style circular buckets mounted with water blasters, and engage in a water battle. The ride is described as offering plenty of "twisting and turning," as you have to keep a vigilant lookout for where the next spray might emerge from.
Riders will even enjoy a sighting of Daffy Duck himself - that's because everyone rotates around a raised central bucket which the character occupies while water cascades down. While a spokesperson confirmed that these Bucket Blasters were already at the park between 2014 and 2021, they weren't in use during the construction of the park's Aquaman's pool. Those who aren't afraid to face their fears can climb into the Sylvester and Tweety Pounce and Bounce, a drop tower that drops and rises from a 41-foot tower.
Get ready to drop and glide in this "jiggly" ride every time Tweety bongs Sylvester on the head. According to the ride's website.
