What do you think was the biggest factor in it making the jump from viral hit to chart-topping crossover smash? Josh Glicksman : Not a sexy answer here, but it’s more of several factors compounding to push “A Bar Song” into the stratosphere. The song’s twang fits squarely within the ever-present mainstream moment for country music in 2024; Shaboozey’s savvy interpolation of J-Kwon’s “Tipsy” plays well with the nost.
