I’ve been going to Paris for many years, showing during Fashion Week and really getting to know the city. I would often go to Barthélémy, an iconic cheese shop in an incredible setting, where I would have a glass of wine and eat cheese after being in my showroom in Paris. Mariage Frères feels like you have stepped into a colonial time back in the 1880s.

It’s a gorgeous tea shop where they sell the most incredible selection of tea in black tins with a creamy gold label. I always stop here when I have to give presents. The restaurant within is the perfect spot to order scrambled eggs and caviar.

Prunier is a very 1930s seafood house, set out like an ocean liner, where Yves Saint Laurent and his muse Catherine Deneuve would dine. In fact, I would run into her all the time when I was in Paris. I also love Clamato - they have the best sustainable seafood and natural wine.

Go for brunch and enjoy a latte clamato juice. They make the best salt and pepper squid and raw cod, too. For an ode to all things Italian in Paris, I recommend Carboni’s; there’s a speakeasy bar underneath it called Bar Sotto.

For herbal plants and herbal medicines I like to go to L’Herboristerie de Paris. It feels like an apothecary, a beautiful holistic space, and I love the way.
