Actor Honey Rose’s home at Moolamattom, Thodupuzha, is a verdant abode oozing radiance. When she decided to build a house, white was Honey Rose’s obvious choice. White, according to her, permeates peace and happiness.
Honey also reveals her passion to grow plants since her childhood. Plants account for the lion’s share of her expenses, says she. It is only natural that this trait is reflected in her elegant home.
That is also why she spends more time outside than inside her abode. That joy when you spot flowers and plants is priceless, Honey says. Honey Rose was born at a place called Cheppukulam, where her little home was on the banks of a rivulet.
It was to enrol her in Lower Kindergarten that her parents shifted to Moolamattom. They first stayed at a rented place in Moolamattom. Honey has lived in many such places, she says.
It has been some years since her present Moolamattom home was constructed. At that time they also had a residence in Aluva, where the family spends their time mostly. She used to visit her Moolamattom residence often, and it was during that time that she had a desire to have a white-themed house.
Though they had a flat in Aluva, Honey liked the view from her Marine Drive flat. During the renovation of her Aluva flat she had rented the present house. She liked the house and bought it.
