The owner bought the property at 4 Teal Ct about 25 years ago and when her partner moved in five years ago they decided they needed extra room.

“We extended out the back with ensuite rooms for our adult children and built a deck that joined the house together,” she said. “All the children could live at home while studying and I could work from home.” Today, the home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a home office, multiple living and entertaining spaces and plenty of parking, all on a private 897sq m block with established gardens, tucked away in a cul-de-sac.

“We designed everything ourselves and brought in trades for the tiling, electrical and plumbing. “Everything custom was made by (my partner) and myself. “He’d say ‘tell me what you need and I’ll make it’.

“It’s unique. “We like that everything is a one off.” The owner said the idea behind the renovation was a home that was functional first but also beautiful.
