House of the Dragon season 2 revealed some history from Fire & Blood about the Westeros-ruling Targaryens and their dragons. However, this information though only new for the show watchers has now confirmed a plot hole from Game Of Thrones. Not much from the prequel should impact what happens in GOT taking place over a century and a half later (170+ years), vut this one detail about Queen Alysanne’s visit to the north has a direct impact on what was seen with Daenerys and her three dragons.

In GOT, Daenerys can be seen flying her dragons beyond the Wall to save Jon Snow. While it didn't seem problematic at the time, it is now being revealed that dragons in the past have refused to cross The Wall even when their riders asked of them. This leads to the question, why would Danny's Dragon agree to? The books have shared no answers or explained why the dragons refused in the past, nor did the show GOT share how Danny was able to convince her dragons to do it.

In the book it was shared that Queen Alysanne had spent a huge amount of time in Winterfell as she enjoyed the weather and the views. In one of her letters to her husband, she can be seen revealing that she often likes to visit the Wall. But also added that despite wanting to go beyond her dragon Silverwing refused three times to do it.
