A summer opening date has been announced for one of Manchester's most hotly anticipated restaurants. Caravan, an award-winning, all-day dining spot, will cast open its floor-to-ceiling windows and doors in just over a month's time. Located in the up-and-coming St John's neighbourhood, it represents the first site in the North of England for the London-based restaurant group.
The concept was first brought to London by New Zealanders Chris Ammermann, Laura Harper Hinton and Miles Kirby in 2009 and is known for its all-day dining offer and Antipodean speciality coffee. The Manchester site will boast 200 covers and will be situated close to Aviva Studios and luxury Greek restaurant Fenix . The team will be giving their kitchens a test run on Thursday, 15, until Sunday, 18 August and they're giving 50% off the food bill in exchange for feedback for those who sign up to visit below.
