With the summer holidays fast approaching parents may find themselves looking for some budget-friendly activities that can keep their children occupied during their six-week break from school. Many families will be looking for some cheap staycations, or things to do in their local area, and there's one place in Manchester that fits the bill coming in at number four on the list of the UK's best free family-friendly attractions, collated by Village Hotels . The experts have analysed Tripadvisor reviews to find the UK’s free family-friendly attractions with the highest percentage of 5-star ratings, with Manchester's John Rylands Library making the top five.
