Highways Festival 2024 ignited the capital city last Friday and Saturday, with country music and Americana lighting up the stage of the Royal Albert Hall for a packed arena. On Friday, May 17, The Mirror reporter Mollie Quirk - who is a self-confessed country fan - attended the iconic festival for the second year in a row. Bringing the full country music experience to London against the breathtaking backdrop of the iconic Royal Albert Hall, the evening was packed full of good vibes and wholesome country music.
Country fans united and I can safely say it was a wholesome evening. Hosted by Baylen Leonard, the vibrant voice of Absolute Radio Country, the entire evening - which went on well into the nighttime - was filled with personality and flair, and of course, brilliant live music performances from some of the best country stars of today.
