A 'stunning' beach has been praised as one of the UK's 'most beautiful' - but it might not remain a secret for much longer. Newborough Beach has received a flood of positive reviews following a visit from travel blogger Aiimee Beaufort, known online as Mays Map. Aiimee shared her discovery with her followers in a video that highlights the beach's breathtaking scenery.
The footage features the expansive golden sands set against the dramatic backdrop of the Snowdonia mountains and the Lleyn Peninsula. Despite the cool sea temperatures, Newborough Beach is popular for activities such as paddleboarding and has thankfully avoided heavy commercialisation. In her video, Aiimee commented: "This beach is where the clear blue sea meets a picturesque forest, incredible mountains and wild horses roam across lovers' Island (Ynys Llanddwyn).
" She continued: "Ynys Llanddwyn is where legend says the well is home to sacred eels who can predict whether couples will remain together and be successful in love. When I visited I couldn't believe this was in the UK. It's quickly become one of my favourite places and one of the most special to me.
" This beach has been celebrated as a 'must-visit summer destination', with local residents quick to proclaim their love for the area. One nearby dweller stated: "I'm so lucky to live down the road from here - it's the most amazing place," while another added: "The summer sunsets are pretty amazing there," reports Birmingham Live .
