Mina Starsiak Hawk and her mom, Karen E. Laine, are returning to HGTV show "Good Bones" for a limited season. The special limited season premieres Wednesday, Aug.
14 at 9 p.m. ET, HGTV announced July 17 in a press release obtained by TODAY.

Starsiak Hawk will take a chance on a "very dated" lake house in Indiana that she is renovating into "the peaceful family getaway of her dreams," the release said. Laine put her retirement fund toward a North Carolina bungalow that she hopes to turn into a "colorful, beachy oasis," the release added.
