Helldivers 2 fans have a lot to anticipate for the future, but right now the game is slowing down. Updates have purposefully slowed down to be better tested, and Arrowhead are also slowing down the releases of warbonds. Unfortunately, for players wanting new content, thanks to the development team entering “semi-siesta mode”.

Some fans are worried about the future of Helldivers 2 because it has on Steam. Although the concerns from fans are understandable, the eventual release of the should, hopefully, bring players back in droves similar to the Sakarujima update for Palworld. There will also be more new content designed to bring players back in the future.

Many players have abandoned the game lately thanks to a feeling of sameness due to a lack of new experiences. Unfortunately, fans have become impatient and tired of waiting for major new content to arrive, and the bad news is that a “big patch” is not expected to arrive anytime soon. On the series’ official , a Helldivers 2 player asked community manager, Twinbeard, “If there’s gonna be at least some patches and small updates here and there throughout the month [of July]”.

This is in relation to Arrowhead developers taking a summer break. The community manager posted the following response: “We won’t be gone for a month. We’re slowing down due to a lot of colleagues go.
