Harbin is gearing up to host the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2025 with extensive preparations underway. Venues are currently undergoing renovations scheduled for completion and inspection by October 31st, with test events slated to begin in early November. The competition schedule has been meticulously planned, featuring 6 major categories, 11 sub-categories, and 64 minor categories.

Registration commenced on April 30th, ensuring a smooth organizational start. In terms of logistics, 38 hotels have been allocated to accommodate athletes, technical officials, media personnel, the OCA delegation, and other stakeholders. Recognizing the diverse cultural and dietary preferences across Asia, the organizing committee is set to provide continuous 20-hour food services daily throughout the event.
