Effective July 2, 2024, Mr.
Shangzhi Zhang will transition from his role as a board director to that of a board observer. Simultaneously, Ms. Jie Zheng will assume the position of executive director on the board.
Ms. Zheng brings a robust background in advisory roles and has been integral in the management of Steigenberger Hotels GmbH, a H World subsidiary. Ms.
Zheng’s extensive career spans over two decades, with executive roles in both the automotive and hospitality industries in China and abroad. As a venture partner at Peeli Ventures, she offers strategic advice to consumer goods and MarTech companies. Her previous tenure at H World as chief strategist from October 2019 to September 2020 was marked by significant contributions, leading to her rejoining the company as a senior advisor in January 2023.
She has been a supervisory board member at Steigenberger Hotels GmbH since November 2023. Before her current engagements, Ms. Zheng held several key positions at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Group in China, including CEO of FCA China (now Stellantis) and general manager of GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Sales Co.
