The temple was built under the guidance of the esteemed BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, which is known worldwide for its grand temples in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and the USA, saw its unveiling ceremony attended by international coordinator Ishwarcharan Swami, alongside Pujya Viveksagar Swami and a huge gathering of devotees. New Delhi: Gurugram, Haryana welcomed a beautiful addition on July 7, 2024, with the inauguration of a new Swaminarayan Temple. Constructed under the auspices of the esteemed BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, renowned globally for its monumental temples in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and USA, the temple’s unveiling ceremony was graced by international coordinator Ishwarcharan Swami, apart from Pujya Viveksagar Swami and a large numbee of devotees.

The foundation stone for the temple’s idols was consecrated by revered saint Param Pujya Mahant Swamiji Maharaj on April 28, 2024, in Sarangpur, Gujarat. The inauguration festivities in Gurugram started at 9 am on Saturday, which featured elaborate rituals and a World Peace Mahayagna on the temple grounds. The day culminated in a vibrant evening procession through Sector 46, with women, children, saints and citizens alike, who were decorated in a colourful attire, carrying kalashes and singing hymns in honour of Bhagwan Akshar Purushottam.

Scholars perform rituals This morning, scholars from Sarangpur, Gujarat performed Vedic rituals, peace prayer and religious ceremonies to formally install the idols. Located in Sector 46, Shri Swaminaray.
