ANAHEIM -- The West Coast can sometimes be a distraction to a team from the East Coast or Midwest. The sun is out, the weather is nice and the beaches are beautiful. So far the Guardians have played well out west.
They opened the season with seven games against Oakland and Seattle and went 5-2. Then they flew across country and won two straight from the Twins at Target Field. They open a three-game series against the Angels on Friday night at Angel Stadium with lefty Logan Allen on the mound.
Will the good times continue? Angel Stadium, Friday 9:38 p.m. Bally Sports Greats Lakes, WTAM, WMMS and the Guardians radio network.
