Grimsby care home residents "danced through the decades" to bring their community together. Clarendon Hall Care Home threw open its doors to mark Care Home Open Week. It saw residents at the HC-One care home in Humberston celebrating the occasion with staff, friends and family members.

Guests from the local area were also invited to attend - with a week of fun activities themed around different decades culminating in an end-of-week celebration. Care Home Open Week is a national event hosted by Championing Social Care, designed to connect care homes with their local communities. Care homes across the country are encouraged to showcase their services, provide tours of their facilities, and highlight the activities offered to residents.

The final celebration day also saw a raffle and name card competition, a BBQ and special beverages created just for the event including the Clarendon Calypso Cocktail. The day raised over £300 for the Animal Ark Shelter and the Clarendon Hall Comfort Fund.
